Get ready for an exhilarating journey of fun and excitement at the 2024 Scout Expo “Scouting through the Decades!” Whether you're a seasoned scout or someone looking to explore the world of scouting, there's something for everyone at the Scout Expo Scouting Through the Decades. Mark your calendars and get ready for a day of excitement and camaraderie that you'll cherish forever!

Overnight Camping: Pitch your tents under the starlit sky and enjoy a night of bonding and adventure with fellow scouts. Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature as you share stories, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Day Use:  Come out for the day and enjoy all the activities Scout Expo has to offer.

Featuring Thrilling Games: Participate in a wide array of exciting games that will challenge you. From Archery & GaGa Ball to stilt walking and stomp rockets, there's something for everyone to enjoy. (Included in fee)

Scout Activity Booths:  Visit booths hosted by local units that have hands on scout activities for you to participate in.  You may even earn some requirements towards ranks. (included in fees)

Food Trucks: Join us with a delicious variety of food options from our fantastic food trucks. Treat your taste buds to mouthwatering delights as you refuel for more exciting adventures.  Food pricing will be determined by each truck.

Webelos Walk & Merit Bade Midway: See below for more information. (Separate Registration and fees)

Evening Campfire Entertainment: As the sun sets, gather around the campfire for an evening filled with storytelling, music, and camaraderie. Share your day's experiences and create lasting connections with fellow scouts and adventurers. (Included in fee)

Friday Evening: TBA.

Saturday Evening: we ask each unit to participate with their own song or skit. To sign up please email Rob Reed at buffalobob1052@gmail.com

Unit theme participation: Help your unit join in on the Theme fun by picking a decade and participate in Expo’s contests.

  1. Gateway decorations: Show off your Units pride by decorating the entrance to your campsite “Gateway” in anyway you see represents your decade.
  2. Unit theme: Get your unit dressed in the decade of your choice. Like Tie Dye shirts (70’s), to beads/fringe (60’s), Poodle skirts/letterman jacket(50’s) etc.

Council Wide Pinewood Derby

NEW this year, we will be hosting a  Council Wide Pinewood Derby on Saturday. We invite all Scouts, family members and adults to participate in this event. Car check in will be from 12:00pm—1:00pm near the stage and races will start at 1:30pm.

Both Youth and adult sizes available for Pre-Sale until September 15, 2024.  Limited availability will be available for sale during Scout Expo.

Merit Badge Midway-Councilware

The Merit Badge Midway is for all Scouts BSA members.  Classes are offered in 4-hours sessions but not all classes will take that long.  Troops are asked to provide one leader to teach a merit badge class for every 5 Scouts from their unit registered for classes.

We are looking for Counselors for our Merit Badge Midway.  Please go to our Signup Genius and sign up for classes to teach.

Webelos AOL Walk -Councilware

These classes are for Webelos and Arrow of Light Cub Scouts in the 4th or 5th grade.  You may select one class per session for each scout.  Packs are asked to provide one leader for every 5 Webelos and/or AOL registered to help with the event.

We are looking for Adults to teach at our Webelos-AOL Walk.  Please go to our Signup Genius and sign up for classes to teach.

Unit Activity Booths

To register your unit to host a Fun Scout based activity (like games, knots, leatherwork etc.)  Please select the registration button below.  If you register your unit to host a booth, your unit will receive a discount code worth $10 off per person for camping.  Don’t forget to incorporate your units “decade of choice” when picking/decorating your Units activity.
