75th Anniversary Grand Camporee

Location: Craig Ranch Park

Date: October 11-13, 2019

In 2019 the Las Vegas Area Council will be celebrating its 75th Anniversary with a Grand Camporee.  This event will be similar to the Mega Scout Expo but will have many exciting additions.  Check this space often for more information and details as they are made available.

Grand Camporee Camping

Camping will be available on Friday through Sunday.  Cost is $15 per person with an $8 discount if registered  on or before 9/23/2019

You can also get a discount on camping by signing up to man a booth on Saturday.  

Grand Camporee Events & Activities

We rely on our Scouting units to help provide activities for the Grand Camporee.  Sign up for a booth now. The registration link has ideas you can choose from.  If your unit hosts a booth, you can receive a discount on camping.

Interfaith Breakfast

This year there will be an Interfaith Breakfast held on Saturday Morning of the Grand Camporee.  The Breakfast will be free of charge we just need to know how many to plan for. The Interfaith Breakfast will be a great chance to celebrate all faith based organizations that support Scouting in the Las Vegas Area Council.  Please RSVP by October 6, 2019

Webelos Walk

These classes are for Webelos aged Cub Scouts in the 4th or 5th grade. You may select one class per session for each Scout. Packs are asked to provide one leader for every 5 Webelos registered to help with the event.  Cost starts at $16 with a discount of $8 if registered on or before September 23, 2019.

Merit Badge Midway

The Merit Badge Midway is for all Scouts BSA members.  Classes are offered in 2, 3, and 4-hour sessions depending on the class requirements.  Most classes have the materials available for the scouts and the price of the class reflects the material cost.  Check the prerequisites if materials need to be bought prior to class.  Classes start at $12 per class with a $4 discount if registered on or before September 23, 2019.
