Scouting for Food

For 110 years The Boy Scouts of America has demonstrated “Duty to Others” with selfless service to our communities and especially those in need.  The Las Vegas Area Council, Boy Scouts of America (BSA), has a long partnership with the Salvation Army for our annual Scouting For Food Campaign.    The Salvation Army Southern Nevada’s service to the Las Vegas valley and beyond, their food pantries are being depleted.  Even the 135,000 pounds of food collected by our Scouts has been given to families, many of whom have been affected by COVID-19 closures and layoffs.  They are asking for our help.  A call to action for our Scouts.
